Getting fired for reacting poorly. Not following your passion sucks for everybody!

I know somebody who recently got fired. When asked why they got fired they responded:

“Because people are stupid. I said something I shouldn’t have said, but it was built up.”

Yep, thinking people are stupid and then saying something stupid yourself SHOULD get you fired. And what’s with the part about “…but it was built up”? What the hell does that mean? It means you have a difficult time working with your emotions – and it just got you canned!

This clearly shows that if a person isn’t following their passion it sucks for everybody – employee, boss and customer.

If you don’t follow your passion… you suck!

If you don’t follow your passion, you end up hating your job, your wife and your life!

If you don’t follow your passion, you suck!
If you don’t follow your passion, you half-ass everything, and
that sucks for the people who have to work with you, and
that sucks for your boss, and
that sucks for the company, and
that sucks for the economy, and
that sucks for the country.

If you don’t follow your passion, that SUCKS FOR AMERICA!

Wright Brothers Followed Their Passion

The Wright brothers were bicycle mechanics, for crying out loud! And they built a frackin airplane! – against their own father’s religious objections of “If God wanted us to fly he would have given us wings.” Bullshit, if God wanted us to fly he would have allowed the most passionate person to make it happen.

Guess what, it happened!

The Wright brothers probably “paid the bills” as bike mechanics. What if they never followed their passion for building a flying machine, would we even know who they were as bike mechanics? No way!

Follow your passion!
