Artist, Alli Vegas, is a barista at my local Sacramento coffee house and it is so cool to see her artistic talent available for sale on Society6. Alli added her artistic “light bulb” to the world and we are all enlightened and inspired because of it.
The Internet allows any artist to upload their dream of being an artist and make it available for sale to friends across town, as well as strangers across the globe. On top of the Internet (Web 1.0), the huge advantage of social media (Web 2.0) means that Alli’s artwork will be easily shared across Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Pinterest and others.
