Parents aren't always right!

I remember my mother being so angry at not having full control over who I married that she refused to attend my wedding. In fact, my Mom was so angry that she refused to speak to my mother-in-law, ever. And years later she finally told me that her mother had forbidden her from marrying my Dad. What is it with hypocritical behavior from our parents! The moral: your parents aren’t always right, you have to think/live/love for yourself. Let your parents be angry once in a while. But let “them” be angry, not you!
